so I was recently interested in how everyone feels about high school. some say it's awesome and fun, but some say it sucks and is the worst period of their life. some argue whether high school or college is the "golden times" of your life.

what do you guys think? do you like high school? or is college alotttt better?

I know college is alot of work...

I think it really depends for a lot of people. Personally, these past few years of high school has been hell for me and I've had moments where I seriously considered dropping out of school. But I think college will be great and awesome for me. It's true that it'll be a lot more harder, but I'm really excited to be able to focus on my major after general education courses.

I think a lot of people will say high school years are the best because after you get to college, you'll think high school was easy and fun.

high school is so easy compared to uni

yes they spoon feed you, but at times, that's an advantage

uni has freedom, but with that comes procrastination if you don't manage your time well

high school is alot easier to make frds

both have pros and cons

^ Yeah, college is better because more freedom and choice. Everything is your responsibility and you get to live in school. Personally I don't like high school because it's the same everyday but I enjoy my senior year. Relax....

I have good memories in HS, but I think I'll like college life better. More independence and new people and network...esp if you attend a university far from home like i did.

I really love high school, got involved, made lots of friends and wishing it will end so much quicker.

Because while I love high school I want new experiences... so yeah ^^

High school was a blast... for the first three years. This year, senior year, just plummeted- a lot because of the curriculum, of the attitudes of my teachers, and my own apathy. I really want to try out the new life at college, and at the same time I'm scared of not being able to adjust. I kinda want to take a month break with sophomore year schedules or something XD;;

high school is so much easier than college in terms of work D: if only i knew what college was like, i wouldn't complain about high school work! haha.

but college has so much more freedom, and you really do get the responsibility. you gotta plan each day. it's not like a set thing like high school, where you go for 8 hours or something, and you go home, study, eat, sleep, blah blah. depending on your timetable at college, you get like the whole day, or you get only one hour a day, or 4 hours a day. well, that's for me. ._. but i gotta fill in the blank hours of the day.

i like the memories of high school. i miss high school a lot now, despite having the crappiest grades. but i do like the people at college because they are there doing the same thing as me, and are just as determined as me.

High school work is NOTHING compared to college. Just think about it this way...
most high school teachers only have a Bachelor' degree and a teaching credential prior to teaching. College professors taught your high school teachers.

At the same time... the social life and learning experiences you receive in College are out of this world compared to most high schools (if not 99.99999%). It's no secret. you have more freedom, more exposure to new ideas, more maturity all around, and a chance to start fresh without the sophomoric drama you see in high school.

College >> high school any given day (except prom day!).

I'm really hoping college will be a lot better for me since I REALLY hate high school. Maybe it's just because of my school. =/

I hate my high school life...i wanted to run away from everything so bad back then. I'll be attending college really far away from home so i hope, and i guess, i'll have to make myself like college. I'll not have any friends or family with me and my bf and i will be long-d so i'll just have to make myself like college no matter what??

college is a million times better but be ready for a major drop in your GPA lol

in general it's much harder to get good grades even though you study more than you did in high school, assuming you go to a fairly competitive school.

college is definitely better. there's so much freedom! when i went back home for vacation, i was not used to coming home by a certain time. i feel like you bond more with your friends there, too, because you constantly see them (despite not having classes together) and you have dinner with them all the time. the work is a lot harder though. it's normal if you or your friends are doing homework on friday/saturday night.

college > highschool, but i still love my highschool friends.
