Sooo like I was in school today and we watched a documentary on Invisible Children. It was one of those CD that came with the bracelet thing yeahhhh, and some guy in my class mention how it's sad that people don't care about it at all. I was like that's not really true, I mean sure people do care about it but not a lot. Our school is doing a fundraiser for the Invisible Children, and it's where you wear two outfits for 20 days straight without changing it but of course you wash the other pair of outfit. It's optional, and if you don't do it, you can sponsor someone for like a $1 a day. And this girl was like "hold on, what what are we doing?" and my teacher told her that people are gathering to do this to raise money to help those kids in Uganda. AND OMFG, that girl had the audacity to say "Psshh, help with what? That has nothing to do with me. SO whatever" I was so pissed off that she could say something like that. And the boy next to her said that same exact thing. Kids over there are starving and trying to make as much as they can to go to school, and we have kids here who skips everyday and drop out of school! and we get a free education. I just don't understand how some people don't even care about this, it's like the world only revolves around them and if it doesn't affect them, then they don't give a d*** until it happens to them. Well anyways, I just wanted to know what people here on soompi are doing to help out with Invisible Children and how do you guys feel when people don't even care cause it's not 'related' to them in anyway.

I remember watching Invisible Children, it touched me. But I felt useless to not be able to do anything, since I'm just a kid. I know there are some kids who are busting missions and being humanitarians, but I need to focus on my education right now The only thing I did was just buy a bracelet, which I soon lost by doing community service... I just want to be like super rich and help them out. Pretty messed up though how people don't care until it happens to them.
