hi guys, im a noob at this stuff so ill ask you guys.. what do i need to connect my laptop to the internet at home? it has wi-fi, so does that mean i only need to buy a router? and if so, which kind should i get? im looking for one around $70ish..

Yes you will need a wireless router.
802.11B G or N... most stores push 802.11N these days for the range+speed but all you really need is a 802.11G if you want to just go online.
Most of the major brands of routers are pretty good and reliable including Netgear, Dlink, and Linksys. Avoid Belkin and Airlink.
