yesterday i spilled some coffee on my laptop and i took out the cd-r drive as well as the battery so i could wipe off the coffee...i also kinda took apart my keyboard, but wasnt able to take it off completely due to the fact that in the back of the keyboard it's attached to a green thing, and i wiped off the coffee there as well...but now it wont turn on~~! please help me~! Or is it just a lost cause and should i just get a new comp?

Your chances are pretty good still because it sounds like you took out the battery and stuff quickly to help prevent damage.
I suggest letting it sit for a while before you try to turn it on again to let the insides dry out completely.
Is the power button attached to the keyboard?
The thing thing the keyboard was attached to is the ribbon!!! You may have damaged the ribbon or connector when you tried pulling it out. And if the power button is connected to it... well that could be why it wont turn on.
