Tattoos what are your opinions

i've been thinking of getting a tattoo and i've got my parents permission.
the thing is, i want one under my ear (the area around there) of a lotus flower.

what are your opinions? should i go for it =)

Why would you be asking other people about their opinions? What matters is what you think about it. It's on your body, not ours. It should be something meaningful also or you're going to regret it later on.

I like some tattoos. I like Chinese character tattoos and tattoos that seem kind of cultural, if you get what I mean. This guy at my school just got this huge tattoo of his last name along his right side. O_O But yeah, I don't like huge tattoos and guys with a lot of tattoos. I like them where it's not that obvious.

i dont have anything against it. just make sure its something that you want for the rest of your life, and that you do it right. i have friends who've messed up on their tatoos and getting them fixed/redone... you dont wanna go through that.

If you mean behind the ear...not under... then that is a pretty easy spot. (So I hear)
Yea, just think super hard about if you really want it there or want it in general.
What I did was when I thought about a tattoo, I sorta set s time limit. Like in three months, I still feel pretty strongly about it, then I'll go about getting it.
That might sound stupid but it worked for me.
