Hello!! currently, my hair stops at like..the middle of my boobs lol. I want longer hair! like, up to my belly button or something. My hair looks really ugly right now though..and I feel like getting a hair cut >_< but i really want longer hair!

What are some ways to get longer hair while keeping it healthy and pretty?

I actually have the same problem. I Used a hair grower shampoo from a dermatologist before but then I stopped because I moved into another city.

i think you're at a good length.. i've found that girls with extremely long hair (like anything beyond min-back) looks really bad cuz their hair just looks like this big thing swishing around and it makes you look "not-awake"? i dont quite know the perfect word to explain it in english. it's just limpy and you can't have much of a style with super long hair :/

but try massaging your head. the vibrations trigger your hair to grow longer.

Also for some reason braiding your hair keeps it clean longer and makes your hair grow. Usually I sleep with my hair in one braid because my hair is still wet in the morning and two my hair grows longer! Well longer faster...xD

My friends say that Sunsilk green actually helps grow hair. It wouldn't hurt trying.smile.gif

First cut your hair all into one length so that's easier to maintain.
Your health reflects in your appearance, so make sure you eat the right amount of fruit, veges, meat etc. Uh, try to eat more protein? It's good for your hair ^^
Sleep and exercise enough for you to feel healthy.
Stimulate blood to flow to your head. You can try cardio and massaging your scalp for about five minutes a day.
Don't over brush your hair especially with a bristled brush, especially when your hair is wet. When your hair is wet, it's easier for your hair to becomes damaged and tear.
Try not to overwash your hair either (unless you have oily hair.)
Avoid hot water, blow dryers, straighteners, curling or anything that may damage your hair a lot.

Um, when you cut your hair into one length, cut off all the dry ends and splits ^^ It doesn't really do anything to the roots (where your hair grows) but it looks a lot nicer :D
And have patience~ I know what it feels like to wait for hair to grow longer ><

My friend just gets her hair trimmed a bit every 6 weeks, and uses extension clip on's most of the time.
Her hair is growing now.

Your hair usually grows like. 1/2 and inch every month right...i dont think you can actually speed it up but just cut off the dead ends every so often, every 2 months perhaps, but just a little.
Other than that shampoos, conditioners, syrums, to make your hair look super sleek && shiney.

I bought a shampoo brand called 'fast' http://www.fasthair.co.uk/html/fast_grow_s...conditioner.htm. My hair indeed grow long for more than 1 inch after using it for 2 months.

I'm trying to grow mine out as well (Currently the longest section of my hair is almost to the mid-chest).
I have extremely layered hair and want to keep it that way, so when I get it cut,
I tell the ajusshi to keep the length and layer everything else to match it.

for me, the easiest way to grow it out is to do everything else to it, but cutting the main length of it. If you have front layers- trim them. You can color it, take more time styling it w/ curling irons, hot rollers, and such.

there was a discussion on this before, and i will say what i saw on soompi from soneone else: exercise so you sweat a lot, especially on top of your head because that stimulates hair growth...supposedly.
Signatures makes me feel silly.
