Have you seen "A better tomorrow", "Swordsman", "Police Story", "The Killer" and etc?
These great movies also can be said to make the HKness culture fill into foreigners' life.

Can you remember the first HK movie you saw and the favorite one you like?

The first one is " Once Upon a Time in China " , Chinese name: " 黃飛鴻 "

The favorite one is " Farewell to My Cuncubine ", Chinese name: " 霸王別姬 "-- because of Leslie Cheung

ahahahahas!!! great movies ..

i can`t type chinese and i don`t remember the english titles but .. Steven Chow has some classic "dai B" comedies ^^;; "po wai wong", "tong bak fu dim chou heung" just to name a few, oh, and those Journey To the West movies he made .. hilarious

then there`s the "gum zi yok yip" from Leslie

"Nam buk ma da" from Fei Fei Lydia Sum

ohhhhhh .. there`s LOT`S more .. mind block =S

A Chinese Ghost Story was a great movie.

I loved all of Jet Li's old martial arts movies..
And some of Stephen Chow's older comedies.. 百变星君..and some others..

I loved this CNY movie special with Leslie Cheung and a whole lot of other famous stars.. I think it's called 大四喜 or something.. it's so freaking hilarious..

I thought the "Butterfly Lovers" movie with Nicky Wu was pretty nice.
