I think that's a cute height. My sister is an inch taller than you.

As for me, 5'5. Believe it or not, I am the tallest one in my family. mellow.gif

Make no mistake about it: Asians need height and muscular strength. Now, I too am only 5 7 or 5 8 (can't remember), but I think we could help our children to be taller and have an absolute nuturitional regimen for the sake of future Asians.

I think with more height and physical strength, combined with already high Asian intelligence, Asians can become super successful, even though we're already successful now.

One way to vastly improve nuturtion for an asian is to simply eat brown rice. Small change in diet, massive benefits over 10 or 20 years since Asians eat so much brown rice.
Just some thoughts: I hope Asians can become more assertive and not passive. I hope Asians develop more social and interpersonal skills. Asians need to develop height through good habits and nutrition. Be careful of the stock market. Don't think it's easy money. It's deceptive and can be more dangerous than the casino. I've lost hundreds of times more in the stock market than the casino.

I'm 5'9-5'10 or 177cm-177.5cm. And I tower everyone in my family. Bwahh!

I think I'm taller then the normal Asian guy, but up to par with regular folks.

Yah I feel empowering with my height, among short ppl. Muahahhahahahah

I'm 5'5, well a bit taller than 5'5 but shorter than 5'6. In my group of friends I am the tallest, they are all 5'0, 5'1, and 5'2. In my family I'm the tallest, my sister however is the shortest, she's 5'0.

5'9.

I don't care about my height. I did, but I grew up and realized in the grand scheme, it really doesn't matter.

<.< I"m only 4'10 or maybe I'm 4'11, but the point is I'm short. Everyone says I look like a 12 year old and I'm not good with heels, so I stick with tennis shoes and flats. Though I really need to start wearing heels since I am in the business industry. Which reminds me, I feel insecure that people may not take me seriously once I get in(or trying to get in) the working field because of my height. Other than that I love being at my height. Haha

Yeah i'm 4'11, and have the same problem. I get carded for R- rated movies still and i'm 21...-.-'. I'm not good with heels either, i have some balance issues. I find that Wedges are alot easier to walk in than plain ol' heels, but i also stick with flats and my chucks^^. So yeah go with wedges.

I'm fun-size. Standing in at 5'0.
I don't think taller people are more "powerful". I just think they're taller mellow.gif

Hey, it's you!~! HIii!! I have to pm u again. Lots of embarrassing things happening, lol.

Back to topic.......I.... I'm 5'..haha.
I can't even reach the top of my copier 3-in1 machine at work without my heels. How sad is that?!
But overall I like being midgety because people are nicer and they let me stand in front of them during fireworks and airshows etc, and they help me take things hanging too high for me. During daylight savings time I asked one of my clients to help me take the clock down to change the hour, haha. Had a good laugh after^__^v
I am an alien from the 5th dimension. Be afraiiid.

hahah you're not alone!! i'm with you there sista! i'm 4'10" and asian (yes i know).... i'm in the business industries now; when i first started it seems like everyone is not taking me foreal - and i guess it's just a mind set i have with me for a long time then. people will only look at your base on where you set yourself to. So i decided to not give a care. it doesn't matter if people think you're short but if you're bold, confident, excited, and know what you're talking about that's all that matter. don't let your "height" be an excuse, make it a reason to do something awesome. smile.gif all i know is God doesn't make mistake He made me like this for a reason & purpose whether i like it or not. smile.gif
