Getting respect is one thing, but it really only applies to first impressions. Us short guys gain respect through our personality and morals. A firm hand shake, strong moral stance, confidence, and the resilience not to take any sh*t is all you need.

I do feel something more for taller guys, say 1.78m and above.
Just the kind of security we get when beside taller guys.

Well i am 1.64m,
I am always envious of petite girls as they can have a wider range of guys from different heights.

For myself and my taller gal friends,
we stop wearing heels when we have around 1.73m tall boyfriends.
We dont like the feeling of being around the same height as our guy...
Brrr.. I love my heels.....


I guess guys can wear their heels too... if you know what guys heels are..
Makes him feel more confident too... well i think it all depends, just my opinion..

Being a tall girl isn't always all that fun for more reasons than one
And despite my height, I still get mistaken for being six years younger than my actual age
And my little sister who actually is six years younger than me is actually taller than I am anyway =p

5'4.5" And I used to be the tallest kid in class, too, way back in the golden years of grade school. I had big feet (they're 6 in U.S. women's sizes now, which I guess is on the small side for an adult, so maybe I always had size 6 feet? XD) so my parents always remarked about how ridiculously tall I'd be when I grew up. Alas...

Actually, it doesn't usually bother me. I can't see the stage too well if I'm farther back in the crowd at concerts, and I can't reach stuff on the higher shelves at work, but whatevs--hearing the music's what counts, and I can just make my co-workers get things for me I don't even mind having a shorter reach in a fight -- short people aim low, son. >;D My prom date in high school was 6'7", though, so that was kind of awkward. And, I am assured, rather amusing to see, especially when I kicked off my 4-inch heels right before the slow song came on...

I'm 180cm or about 5'11". It's nice being tall, makes looking for people in a crowd a little easier. I would fall into the tall category for a chinese guy
