So I felt like discussing height....but to make the thread more credible, do you often feel taller people are more "powerful"?

But anyway, how tall are you? I just looked up my height converted to inches...and I'm only 5'5 boo. I always thought I was 5'6. Supposedly that's taller in Asians, but I still feel about average height walking around.

I don't think taller people are more powerful, I think it's just a general misconception. I'm 5'7 myself and Asian, but I have many other Asian friends who are 5'8-6'0 boo lol. I feel I'm the average height even though I think average height in American is what.. 5'8, 5'9 or so?

5'10 without any shoes. I think its an average height. I wouldn't mind another inch or two. The thing with height for me though, is that I always prefer dating girls who are shorter than me. Nothing against tall girls but when they're dressed in high heels and tower over you, makes me feel a little weird.

I think that's the average height for asian males

and I don't see any problems when there're people taller than me...

ive been told im pretty tall for an asian girl =] makes me feel good lol XP .. im 5'4 1/2" practically 5'5" =] i feel like a giant since most of my friends are shorter and petite =[ .. lol.. i tower over mostly all of them.. theres just a few that are my height.. i dont think any are taller tho.. I'm about 6'3", and that's never bothered me before. However, now that I've discovered how much I love Korean clothes, it's starting to piss me off. Sure, I can find clothes that fit on Gmarket, but it's not easy.

I'm not Asian, but clothes made for Koreans/Japanese guys seem to generally fit my body shape much better than Western men's clothes. I'm just too tall! *sigh*
