Hi guys sorry this thread is still under construction. I will say though that you watch out for her Korean release of Out of the Box, which has fused tracks wfrom her Japanese release Bittersweet Sympony and leaving two out from Out of the Box. At the moment she is very underated world wide but in Asia, she's very well known - especially in Korea. She has recently shifted from sweetbox into her own name Jade Valerie. I'm trying my best to get people to know her
Jade's Korean record label SONY BMG KOREA is already getting started with her promotion in Korea for her Korean release of her first album OUT OF THE BOX (set for April 22nd) and has already released her first single Just Another Day digitally, which you can pre order at major online services such as Melon, Cyworld, KTF DOSIRAK, M.NET, BUGS and JUKEON.

at 02am (Mnet).
Bling Bling Pop is available on Mon~Sat 01pm/ 01am (KMTV) and on Sun 08am (Mnet)
That's it for now! Sorry if this is going to take you a while! Do please check out the thread intro page below and do leave suggestions or questions which I'm more than willing to answer, if you feel you must! In the meanwhile, you can also look at the Jade intro thread I made months ago. I'll also be taking the information typed there to here and tweak it here and there. Do also check out The Success of sweetbox (2001~2004) (click to watch) video to get yourself the idea of the music she has done in her sweetbox days and now.
*If you don't have intentions in liking her or if you're here to bash her, please do pass on. It's already in the rules that we do not do so anyway. Thank you
Keep you posted

Jade Valerie Villalon, also known by her stage name, Jade Valerie (born August 12, 1980) is an Filipino-American pop singer, songwriter and actress.[1] She is sometimes known as Jade from Sweetbox. She was the former lead singer of Sweetbox until she quit in September 2007, to pursue her own career under her new stage name. She had been with the band for 7 years between 2000 and 2007, solidifying the success of the band which previously had a hit with Everything's Gonna Be Alright in 1998 when the frontwoman was Tina Harris. Roberto Rosan (a.k.a. Geoman) has also left the project band and is now a full time producer with Jade. The two has accomplished much through their sweetbox years together in producing and writing music together and has brought hits such as Korea's flavour favourtie Don't Push Me, Life Is Cool along with other hits such as Addicted, Cinderella, For The Lonely, Read My Mind and After The Lights. These hits has brought Oricon success to her GREATEST HITS and ADDICTED album and most recently released sweetbox COMPLETE BEST (avex Japan) and has scored Double platinum sales in their JADE, Adagio and BEST OF album in Korea reaching DOUBLE PLATINUM in sales. Their success also gained them a DIGITAL award for massive online sales.
Villalon first entered the music world when she joined the band Gemstone along with Christina Vidal and Crystal Grant. After Gemstone broke up, at the age of eighteen, she entered the pop project/group Sweetbox, and became a star.

She is perhaps best known in the western world by video game players as the singer for the English release of Final Fantasy X-2. She was given the opportunity to sing for the INTERNATIONAL version for the two theme songs in the game: real Emotion and 1000 Words (1000nokotoba in Japanese), which was originally sung in Japanese by KODA KUMI.
Her music with Sweetbox is most famous in Asia, although her lyrics are entirely in English. She is also famous in the eastern world for contributing two songs, "World Without Frontiers" and "Addicted", to various Subaru Automobile commercials (the former song was included on her Adagio album under the title "Hate Without Frontiers"). Her music has also been featured in other popular commercials, including a commercial for Coca-Cola. In Korea, she is also well known for her Christmas Eve and New Years concerts. She also released a cover of "A Whole New World" on the Asian release of a Disney soundtrack called "DisneyMania!".

As announced public from September 4th 2007 on the official JADE VALERIE website, it had been made public that Jade, along with Geo, has quit Sweetbox to pursue her own new direction as a solo artist, for they both thought it was time she gained the name as JADE VALERIE. With her 7 years of experience with sweetbox, it was time that Jade spread her own wings.

She has already started her solo career, along with Geo, under the name Jade Valerie, and has already redebuted with her first [mini] solo album Out of the box under Uninversal Music Japan released along with her recently released 2nd albulm Bittersweet Symphony in Japan. Jade has made thus far to her 8th original in her 8 year music career.
