I applied for pre-pharm at the University of the Pacific (UOP) in Stockton, CA,
On their website it says notification is on March 15 but I didn't get a letter today.
I was wondering if anyone knows if they mean actual notification or that they mailed out letters or something.
Did anyone else apply to UOP that knows?


P.S. When my cousin got into UOP she said they sent letters not via email

I didn't apply to UoP, but my friend also applied to that program and I was just on the phone with her. She said she was supposed to get a letter today too, but she didn't get one. I also asked her if she could check online and she said she didn't know if you could do that and she didn't know how you could do that.

So I'm guessing you do get notified by letter and apparently it didn't come today.
Sorry, I hope it's at least a bit comforting knowing you're not alone.

The admission decisions doesn't have it for the fall 2008 decision... it must be from last year
They should have been more clear and stated postmarked on the 15th or put up current links to admissions decisions!!

yeahhh! I'm so scared I might not get 5 year PharmD and get put into 6 or 7 year D::

I hope I get into the 5 year program too but I wouldn't mind the 6 year because
the 5 year pre-requisites have 2-3 science classes per semester while the 6 year only has 1-2...

whew, i'm glad i'm not the only one who didn't get a letter. i'm SOOO nervous! i really want to know if i got in or not. i applied as a graphic design major, and i really want to know the results.

That is soo odd...
The web address works but I never got an email and I seriously spent like the past hour trying to see how to get to that link from the uop website and it only has the check application status checker which only tells you they recieved everything...

lol the quote i had in my post earlier came from someone who applied to UOP last year. i didn't get an email this year.

i'm glad that link still works 1 year later though they just haven't updated it until today.

I'm a current Sophomore at UOP in the pre-pharm program. I'm going to pharm school next year. (2+3) Any questions feel free to ask.

Don't worry about the admissions online. My brother applied and he hasn't received word. I didn't find out til I got it by snail mail.
