I've seen types of Korean sushi that have spam or ham inside and some egg too. I think they also have pickles inside.
I;ve heard Korean sushi with spam came about becuase after ww2 and the korean war there was too much surplus spam left over from the US army so every1 started using it in sushi...
is that true and do you eat spam sushi at home? or even if you have eaten before, what is it like? do you like it?

Anyways, I don't really see sushi with spam in it, but I do see musubi.

Spam musubis rock! I've never seen spam kimbap in Korea but I have seen them in Guam. They are delicious.

it's so, so, so good! but still, on that note, japanese sushi is also good
I think i've only had spam musubi in Hawaii... i don't think i've ever seen it marketed as korean sushi though... the shop that i go to sells tuna fish (the kind you can get in cans), spicy tuna fish, and beef! AHHH this is making me hungry!

i dont think traditional kimbap uses much spam, its mostly ham.
i always want to make pretty kimbap with those designs
mine are always plain looking

but I have eaten sushi with spam in them on Guam.

They are delicious!

They mixed veggies like carrots and some green stuff (no idea what it was) as well as tiny bits of eel, some chunks of spam and wrapped it in rice and nori seaweed.
It was so good! They even taught me to make it at home. I love spam sushi. I think it's only a Japanese American thing, though...

anyways gimbap is more like wrap rather than sushi.
