i have student loans. it's not as bad as some people... but i think it's a few thousand dollars a year.. prolly less than 5thousand per year. i would say if you can afford it without the student loan, go for it. and also there are two different types of loans.. sub and unsub.. i forgot which one was the "better" one. -.-; i hate these financial aid things.
akati: i'll be here! well.. maybe. i might go off campus though... wow profile day's tomorrow already. haha are you staying over night?

This year, the number is HUGE. Around 15,000 people applied and almost 6,000 were accepted. If you do that ratio, the school will have a big incoming freshman class. This means, a LOT more new teachers and people getting screwed over for housing (meaning possibly me.)
Profile Day tomorrow! I'll probably be there for an hour or so. See you guys there.

another question... what is the average PCAT score that UOP will accept? i'm planning to change my major into pharmacy, so if i got by bachlors degree for prepharm and took the PCAT and passed, do i have to get interviewed or do i just get straight into grad school?
thanks for answering!

Hii! Yes, it is ture that taking a physics course (regular/ honor) in high school fulfills the physics requirement for high school. (I believe this question has been brought up before).
As long as you passed the class, you're all good.
however it will exempt you from having to take it at UOP.
anddd I'm not sure about the other questions. gomen ne. D:

oh wait. i thought u were talking abuot honors day. i went to the santana row thing too. (yeah that one was boring. lol.) they gave out free sweatshirts, t-shirt and a stuffed tiger (mascot) with UOp's shirt on (i wanted that or the sweatshirt but i got this lame white shirt with the word "pacific" across) mm oh well. what i liekd about the reception though was that you had a chance to talk to the pharm students and most of them took the 2+3. so that was nice. :]. it was like getting a perspective from someone who is almost done with the program and when i went to visit uop, i got to see people who are just starting the program.

You could get old tests from older friends who have taken the classes previously. But you gotta make good friends.
______________
I know Aileen and Emily. lol are you related to them?

so if you do the 3+3 program then you get a bachelors, correct?
so if you end up changing your mind and not wanting to do pharmacy, after the first 3 years and getting a bachelors you can just apply to some other grad school, yes?

only 4+3 requires that you get a bachelors degree. but you can still get one in the 3+3 program.

I heard something about taking econ at a jc. and I think initiation/pledging activities depends on the frat/sorority.

lol for health insurance, it's kind of annoying to do since you have to fill out paper work n stuff. I'm not sure how it works. I just buy from the school.
For first year, taking both chem and bio is a good idea. Upper division courses are harder and you want to get the easier classes out of the way.

chem35 and bio051 together is okayy compared to the type of classes you'll be taking later on.
If you don't take bio 051 this year, you'll have to end up taking it next year.. with ochem. (eek)
Soo, I would take take it during your first year. I'm not sure if 3+3s can take bio 051 first year but I know for sure they can take bio 061 second semester. You'll have to check up on that~
ohh and random news:
I might be an honors peer next year! So, I might see you guys b/c if I get it... I'll be living in Carter. ^^
