No, move trips are all optional. They are just a good way to get to know other students before school really starts.

unfortunately, i'm not going to uop next year :/. i turned in my SIR to UCSD yesterday mainly b/c i'm not exactly sure if i want to be pre-pharm when pre-med is the field that i really wanted to go to. and i felt that the program offered at uop while great is really for ppl who were sure. i didn't want to first, make a decision that would fold my dreams and second, to regret that decision when it is too late to turn back.
but it was really hard to decide b/c i met so many friendly ppl both at uop and in this forum. so i wanted to say thanks for everything. and for the ppl who chose uop, i hope you guys have an awesome time there. :].

And it wasn't the amount of years in undergrad that scared me; it was the amount of years in graduate school. 3 years sounds absolutely nuts. Even though I'll be spending much more time at USC (probably 8 years), I like the idea of taking things slowly.
Also, how did the housing crisis turn out? That was another thing about Pacific that turned me off. It sucks that the school announced that around finals week.

I was reading about the pre-dental program and I have one question.
If I apply to the pre-dental program and get in, am I guaranteed a spot at Dugoni dental school as long as I have required GPA and DAT?
If not, what is the percentage of pre-dental program people who get offer of admission from Dugoni?
Thanks

But I'm not too sure, because basically, it's in the most dangerous location.
However, I do hear that they give you a 100% guaranteed job after graduating??? Forreal, haha?
And I hear that it's uber competitive there, so people drop out of the pharmacist programs and stuff.
I want to do the five or six-year program, but yeeeeeeah. :/

hmm I duno about job right after graduating. I heard about that for some of the engineering majors.
UOP, the campus itself is very safe in my opinion. If you stay on campus, there's little to worry about. It is outside campus that's a bit sketchy.
Yea, some people do drop out of the program since it's so competitive. That's just the way it is.

Ohhhhhhrr...
Haha, do you stay on the campus 24/7?
I've been living in the city all my life, so I don't know how I'll be able to handle being in the middle of nowhere.
Whatever, it can't be that bad, yeah?
What's your major?

hellolove.: honestly, uop's science courses are hard as heck, but the people here are pretty nice. you'll be really surprised on how nice some people are. umm.. it is located in a dangerous place, but i feel so safe in the campus. they have campus securities like driving around campus at like.. 2am. haha i've walked around campus (although near the dorms) around like.. 2 or 3 am by myself. i just dont go off campus as often.. and when i do it's with people i trust and yah. lol umm... the campus is so lovely. you should come and visit

lol FMLLLLLL.
Well, I guess you can never have it the easy way out.
Isn't it super boring staying on the campus all the time?
Yeaah, I think I might go visit in the summer because it's near my brother's school anyway.
And is it true that there's a high percentage that you'll get in if you just meet all the requirements?

andrewww noooooo. I'm sorry that you're not going to UOP.. but it was nice knowing you online. <3 Don't feel bad that you don't get to meet me in person la. If you think that USC is the best choice for you, I hope that you'll be really happy there.
