The woman said that you can do so and that a little note in the app would help.
Also, the lady said that they highly advise a log of community service?
Did anyone who applied for the pre-pharm. program do that?

I just wrote down how many hours of community service I did on the app.

The commonapp has a spot to put how many hours of an activity you did.
Ugh, I have a feeling I won't get into the pharm program...
I hear it's super easy to get into the actual school, but not the dentist/pharm program.
fml
Does UOP take your weighted grade btw?

And I thought Common app was optional since it says 'online application or common application'.

Don't do the common app if you are applying for the advantage program. Actually, I don't even think you are allowed to do that.
When I applied, there was a box that says, "list other things you haven't shown us in your app. here."
That's where I put my hours down.
It's been way too long. I don't even remember what the app looks like anymore.

I read somewhere online that they did. Lies and slander.
D: I just checked the app. and there is no box for comments.
You just list the activities, awards, etc. and how many years you've done them for.
There's a box on the commonapp?

"For its pre-pharmacy program, about 1,750 apply each year for the 120 slots, for about a 7 percent acceptance rate."
http://www.individual.com/story.php?story=108931457
however I don't think its really a 7 percent acceptance rate..thats just 120/1750.
Of the total 1750 application pool, hundreds are probably accepted, and of those only about 120 actually decide to go to UOP...right?

1550 out of 2400? Well if you scale it to like the 1600, I think you may be put into the 4+3 program or bio major. And telling us your weighted GPA is useless since UOP takes raw GPA. Hopefully it's above 3.0

lol buddy, I think that site quoted wrong. You are looking at the number of students who apply from another school into the pharmacy school at UOP. If you are in the pre-pharm program and do everything right, you are guaranteed a seat. It's like 100% acceptance. haha

Yeah, best of luck to the both of us!!
The woman said that you can do so and that a little note in the app would help.
Is it true UOP does rolling admissions? I'm retaking the SATs again this december, but if that's true, my app will be one of the last they'll consider.
They ask if we took the SAT or not - if we choose yes, we have to put superscores for the sections. If we choose no, we have to put down the planned date of the test. Since we can't put both (current scores and planned), what do you think I should do?

Another uneasy part about it is:
Primary Major: Dental: Pre-Dentistry <-- this is what they meant by the pre-dental advantage program.. I hope. Because the next part was about a pre-professional program - which there wasn't a dental one. I hope I did it right ;__;
*DONE! Celebrate! Phew, sighofreliefjoy* <-- After I pushed submit xD;

Application: Downloaded (Date: 11/16/2009) Deadline: 11/15/2009
Supplement: Downloaded (Date: 11/16/2009) Deadline: 11/15/2009

The common app was turned in online right? Maybe there was a delay between when the company got it versus UOP.
I really don't know if it'll change anything though.
