You should consult your doctor about this so that you don't ruin your health.

I used to eat 3500 calories a day for months at a time. No weight change. There's nothing I can do about it. I'm skinny and will be for a long time.

I find that almost impossible to believe. Even if you were eating unhealthy you would've still put on weight. Seriously, no one has a metabolism that will burn 3500 calories a day.
I used to be 5'11 at 115 lbs (14% bodyfat yet I looked rail thin) and now I'm 5'11 at 150 lbs (8% bodyfat). I plan to be 170-180 lbs by the end of the summer.
Realistically, your looking to put on 3-4 lbs of muscle a month.
Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Protein is basically the most popular if your looking to buy some.
I use BSN Cellmass (creatine), BSN NoXplode and a multivitamin.

I can vouch for whey protein too. When I was on the fball team in college for a yr I took that to get bigger. I gained somewhere around 10-15lbs along with regular weight lifting and running on the side. If you stick with it and continue to take the protein shakes around 3 times a day, you will notice some good weight gain. But it doesnt happen overnight. You gotta give it 3 weeks minimum to see results. In the end though, you need to be dedicated to it and not be lazy or you wont see good results.

Thats what it was. But this is an old pic so the box probably looks different now.

My brother and I used to work at Burger King. I worked about 6 days a week. A triple whopper with cheese (what I had almost everyday), some fries, and a soda would be around 1600 calories for just one meal. This doesn't include the drinks I had while on the job. Then add on breakfast and lunch and a GNC weight gainer shake once in a while (my mom gave me this to put on weight). I did this for my health class and calculated about 3500 a day. ALSO, I work out at the gym like 3 times a week benching and lifting weights... no help, but I do look more toned.
Right now in college, I'm eating about 4 meals a day to meet up my metabolic needs. I just lost 5 pounds the last week practicing for my fraternity talent show haha.
Dude I can't believe you were 115 at 5'11". I just can't imagine how slanky you used to look.

I guess... I used to eat the same way and never really gained but it was no where near 3500+ calories. The fact that majority of calorie intake was fat doesn't help either.
I'm just saying with a healthy diet and exercise you could easily put on weight/muscle.
