How Skinny Is Too Skinny? What is optimal weight base on height?

What do you consider optimal weight for each height range?
1.55/5'
1.60/5'2"
1.65/5'4"
OR any other?
Due to media and what we see as the Typical 'FOB' Asian girl, we tend to lower our optimal weight. Well, at least I speak for myself and some of my friends. We calculate our BMI and it's totally in the normal range, but we see these skinny girls, and make their legs look longer (since asians typically have short legs), we feel like we need to lose those weight to match up and look good. So personally I love those NORMAL celebrities, such as Song Hye Gyo (if that's how you spell her name.)
Anyways, just my rant!
If you reply, could you also leave your ethnicity, and if you consider yourself a fob or banana?

what is a banana?
bananas refer to asians that are "yellow on the outside, white on the inside", also known as twinkies.
for other types of asians, >> http://www.nemesiscorporate.com/AsianRU/
and what you say is true~ but i'd rather have curves than be a pencil. but it seems like im staying 108lb forever T.T
i can't seem to gain or lose any weight. D< (good, bad? indecisive as of now.)

If you're 5'4 and have a bigger bone structure though, the ideal weight could range from 100-105lbs?
That's a pretty good weight for today's standards, imo. ^^'

5'4 and 95lbs is so skinnnny. I'm around 5'4 and weigh 103-105ish lbs and i'm pretty skinny already. So 8-10lbs less than that is just too skinny.
I think at my height anywhere from 110lbs and up is good and not too skinny.
I'm not really sure about other heights.

maybe that's too skinny! XD
wow that is WAAAAY too skinny!
For someone with that height and weight, their BMI is 17.2
The healthy range is between 18.5-24.9
I really hope girls on this forum don't share your sentiments because that's fairly anorexic for a girl

Lol if you have a normal bone structure, yeeah it IS pretty skinny.
Thing is though, I have a reeeally small frame, so I'm supposed to weigh 5-10lbs less than the average person anyways.
No, I'm not crazy...
If you have a small bone structure, 95lbs isn't anorexic or anything.
It's just normal slim/skinny for a teenager.

^孙俪 (popular Chinese actress) is 165cm (5''4) and weighs exactly 43kg (95lbs).
A large majority of asian celebs weigh less than 90lbs, and they're FULL-GROWN WOMEN.

as for me, my BMI is like on borderline underweight and average. and i don't understand how. cuz i'm pretty chubby and flabby everywhere.
i'm like 5'3 and 47kg. well, at that time. i'm like 50kg now T_____T (can't stop eating)
but ixbebe.'s version of skinny is my version of skinny, too. haha.

i think too skinny is when you look fragile (like angelina jolie) or your brest bones show.
but "too skinny" can also depend on the person themselves and how healthy they are
edit: its not really about how much you weigh..its about % of body fat i guess
