me same thing. I hate it! IDK y! sometime even if i hold my phone too long, it'll start to sweat a lot. i heard there's surgery.

It's a medical condition called hyperhidrosis, so anyone who tells you to just "relax and don't worry about it" has no idea what it is.

omgg. this is a HUGE problem for me. it runs in my dad's side of the family; it's like crazy dominant or something. everything my dad touches instantly gets soaked. there'll seriously be like a pool of water or something. eeek. well good thing my sweaty hands aren't as bad as his. D:

i usually just rub them like crazy on my pants or something if i have to do anything like that.

i have been coping with this problem as well, not only sweaty hands, i have sewaty feet too.
i think i inherited the "sweaty" gene from my mom's side...

For the western medicine side, they have a surgery which will cut off a nerve to prevent excessive sweating but the side effects are different for each individual.
For the chinese medicine side, they use the acupuncture treatment (which i am undergoing now) coupled with chinese traditional medicine. The treatment process is quite slow but there are no side effects.

I have also heard of some sprays to prevent sweat from pharmacy but i doubt that would really help, coz it only cures from the external side (removes sweat by drying the hand of the skin), but excessive sweating is caused from the internal body itself.

My brother has the exact same condition. I dont remember the name for it tho, probably what ginger said earlier.

He went to see a doctor already. There's a surgery option if I'm not mistaken. but for the time being he's just using medication provided by that doctor. He said it works, tho you have to constantly use that med ^^"

I suggest if it bothers you too much you just...go see a doctor?

i have sweaty palms too -.- now it doesn't bother me as much.
