I"m korean (but born in america) and my korean isn't great.
Like when I speak I get nervous and hecka blank out.
So when I do speak korean I end up mixing english with it cuz i cant think of what to say laugh.gif
Its especially embarassing when family from korea comes over and you don't know what to say to them ... then they get weird ideas cuz you dont talk to them alot mellow.gif

Sad sad sad, but oh well I can improve smile.gif

well I was born and raised in the Phil but I admit that I'm not that good in tagalog.
Actually, I think i suck.. I'm not used to it. I'd rather speak in bisaya or english.

*raises hand*

I can't speak chinese (teo chew) fluently at all ): Although I do know most of the things my relatives say, I have really bad grammar structure and pronounciation in my language.

Not really that embarrased though. It'd be nice if I could speak my own language fluently, but hell, I know fluent English lol (:<

If you have trouble speaking it, then it's most probably not your native language. I think the category most of you are putting your language into is "ethnic language."

English is my native language and I have no problems speaking it. As for my ethnic language, Laotian, I'm not too great.
