Hey guys, I just bought a K810i but I realized that it doesn't support Korean text, so when I play a Korean song, the letters come out as boxes. I want to upgrade the firmware so I can read the korean words. Any suggestions?

im pretty sure simply upgrading the firmware wont do. but i could be wrong..
there was a time when i encounted your same problem except i wanted the phone to read chinese. in order to do that, i had to flash the chinese firmware onto the phone, which cost money from where i live (melbourne, australia). seeing as it cost me money, i didnt do it lol
so in other words, upgrading the firmware through sony ericsson's update program wont work, you'll need to find some people who can flash the korean firmware onto your phone.

Yeah you need to flash your phone with a firmware that includes Korean under languages or it won't work. I don't think you can find a firmware with english AND korean though... I'm not sure.

Yea.. After some searching, there aren't any firmware with both English and Korean. I guess because Sony Ericssons are basically nonexistent in Korea.
