Ever After is a really cute rendition of Cinderella. Its a little bit more of girl empowering though.
I loved 50 First Dates for the slightly unexpected ending.
How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days is great brain candy? I also really enjoyed Alex & Emma :3
If you don't mind cartoons Studio Ghibli's Howl's Moving Castle was really one of my favorites <3
Hope that helps ~ !

The Bridget Jones's Diary <-- ultimate feel-good movie
How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days <-- very sweet, clever movie - battle of the sexes!
Ever After <-- best cinderella story for girls

Many people find the two very similar, but I think they both have their own aspects of quirkiness and thoughtfulness.
