I wanna try a new mealplan in the future...I was wondering what would typically be on the shopping list of a Japanese-food consumer? Okay taht sentence almost made no sense xD Anyway...like...what do you guys use to make obentos and stuff?

Japanese cuisine, especially in its purest forms (such as Kaiseki Ryori), is all about QUALITY over QTY.

my co-workers bring bentou everyday, but half of the stuff is leftovers or special bits of frozen food for bentou.
usually they have:
white rice
salmon/coroquette(sp)/thick ham slices/shrimp
veggies
