not necessarily, if you get a straight cut fringe, it will make it more square(I am assuming).
But, I have a sorta round face(with straight fringe), and I don't really care.
As long as you like it.

i don't have any pix, but i prefer my fringe hair, my fringe is clipped to the side tho cos i only suit side fringes...i got a normal fringe like in the pix u posted above and lets jus say i ended up lookin like a dude....bad times....also i need the fringe to hide my huge forehead, hahahaha!

definitely side swept bangs... if you get a full heavy straight across fringe it's going to emphasize the "square-ness" of your face.

I don't know, I quite like both but my friends said I looked better with side-swept.

You are somewhere in between the round and oval face shape. I think you can pull of straight, but just make sure you dont just cut STRAIGHT across. Cut it with a little curve.

Fringes are good with people who have a long face. It shortens the face right?

I love bangs. I constantly change the style of mine. Cut it short and straight across and then grow it out and push them to the side. It really accentuates my face. Just dont make it too thick because it can get kinda gross. And if you don't want bangs one day, just put it up in a paris puff or tie your hair in a pony tail and comb+hairspray them into your ponytail so it looks like you have none =) Always fun with bangs

I have side fringes, and whenever I feel like doing stuff to my hair, it'll be like the middle fringe kind of style. I like it both ways, but it gets in the way sometimes

i kinda have a round face i guess? and i resently got fringed bangs
and all you do it part how much you want in your front and then cut it straight in the middle and get longer at the egdes then you go over the bangs you just cut with a razor so you dont have all the same layers

i dont reccommend it. i also have a squareish face and it did not look cute XD. i think when you pin them back, it looks really cute so thats w hat i do. its a hassle to put like 6 bobby pins in your hair every morning though,

i personally think Bangs look nice on people who have a high fore head, but you can still mimik the high forehead look by grabbing hair from the top of your head and cut it so that it looks like you have a high fore head

you shouldn't get fringed bangs if you don't have a big forehead, or long face. even though you think it looks cool on someone else, it doesn't mean it'll good on you. even if you think it looks good on someone and that person doesn't have a big forehead or long face, it probably looks good just because she is pretty, and she would most likely look better with a different hairstyle. i personally think fringed bangs are ugly because if they're too long, they poke your eyes, and if they're too short, they make you look kind of dimwitted (i don't know, hard to explain)

i like my fringe. it makes me look more nonplain becausse back then, i used to have long straight beautiful hair like those girls in the pics.. but i never tryed fringes so i always looked a bit awkward in hats and etc. im gonna grow my hair out long and get a new fringe and see if i like it..

I had side bangs for awhile, but i switched to full bangs for the spring/summer seasons
IMO, full bangs are fun and flirty..they have a certain edge to them that makes a girl look younger/free.
So i think that'd be perfect for the spring/summer seasons.

And if you cut your bangs and end up don't liking them, just pin them back ^^
