after watching the video, it seems (personally...to me only) that the chinese version ...was better than the original. not because of the new members but just overall cuts and the new dance moves. hankyung's lil solo and henry's new violin parts, plus the ultra-charismatic mirror parts were pretty smexy

i kinda don't like zhoumi. i get a really "fake" feeling from him. maybe he's trying too hard? (not from the mv, but from the beijing hosting and also his parts on that singing show)

henry's violin skills are amazing, his singing's okay....haha i love how someone called him "chubbY cheeked" HAHAH
he's adorable, truly.

Because they can't. Suju-M is a Suju subgroup. it wouldn't be a suju subgroup if there wasn't a "super junior" in it. It would be just a new group which i don't think is a good idea nor is it something that SM would do because if it's a new name entirely, there would be more questions, assumptions & speculations regarding the status of the main suju & the 5 main suju members in suju-m. And i think it would confuse people more because HK, SW, DH, RW & KH are all known for being super junior so eventhough for suju-m they also have Henry & Zhoumi, they're still a suju subgroup who just happened to have 2 new faces for their chinese promotions.

so yeah I dunno if i made sense,lol, cause it's almost 2:30am here and i really should be sleeping lol

Actually, i'm ONLY 13 fans, however, I don't protest SJM cos I think SJM is SJM and it is a good chance for Hangeng to be back home.
But (i'm so sorry if this make anyone feel bad) I think SM is not neccessary to add 2 members up in the sub-group.
I love Henry since I saw him in Don't Don but dind't want him to be SJ members. just like that!

Anyway, if these 2 members need to be add up I will continue support Super Junior like ever before and also Henry and JuMyuk. Amm it may need a lot of time to accept but because I love SJ so I will love Henry & JuMyuk.. ^^

I used to be sitting in your shoes. I was an only13 supporter, but i was definitely impressed with Henry. I figured that since I liked them separately, that i'd like them together as well. I still stand by that decision. I adore SuJu, I really do... but nothing is forever, whether we want it to be or not. It was a good growth decision to add 2 members (though obviously not "necessary" as SME/LSM tends to claim). Permanent or not, their addition showed maturity and an understanding of the business side of music. People tend to forget that their is one, and it's almost as important (if not more so) than the music itself.

The new MV was better than I expected. I probably liked the concept of this one better than the earlier korean MV. Though I don't have much to say about the Mandarin equivalent to the song, in terms of lyrical composition because I'm not in the best position to comment since my knowledge of mandarin is pretty much limited to basic conversational level. However, I really liked Henry's violin bit infused into the song. I'm definitely a pro-13, but, I would want to give Suju-M a chance to buy me over. Hankyung definitely has presence in this MV, loved all the scenes he was in - and that solo dance bit is amazing. My jaw dropped, literally. Ryeowook's looking extremely good too, his hair is gorgeous. Q looks handsome as always <3 Feels good to see the boys after some time.

Agreed. I was setting myself up for something to dislike... and really? the only thing? it felt like the camera was spinning around so much. i get dizzy really easily. As for their chinese? surprisingly good. a marked improvement from U - Mandarin the first. Kyu wins the foreign language game hands down lol

I'm very glad that there are people like you out there... ones that are willing to give it a try. even if you end up hating it later on, your open-minded approach is refreshing. I just watched the mv and...woah! It was amazing!!
I was very impressed by their pronunciation especially Donghae with his rapping.
Loving Henry's violin solo and Hankyung's dance.
It was better then I expected and dare I say it...i thought it was better then the original

I think they probably used the original harmonies to the song since they were there for only the English parts and adlibs anyway. So, that's most likely why you can hear his voice there XD That's my theory, anyway lol

Aaaah!! the first gif is like one of my fave parts. it went by too quickly in the mv i couldn't analyze and stare at it,lol. i wish it was more focused and longer too. wouldn't mind seeing the view from the back either lmao!

Sounded fluent though didn't it? also the "here we go' part? might be Henry but the voice is too deep..then again we haven't really heard him talk so it could be chubby cheeks or it could be none of them.

The thread maker has explained this in her earlier posts, but since this thread has been jumping so fast...

I've listened to the audio rip and it still feels weird listening to them sing in Chinese.
Perhaps my ripped version wasn't good enough, but I had to really focus to catch what they are singing.
Nonetheless, I still give them credit for their current attempt.

It would be nice to be able to converse with both Ryeowook and Kyuhyun in Chinese in the future, if there is a chance...
