wash your hair everyday with a promising shampoo and (a lot of?) conditioner (like pantene or dove or some trusting brand)
do NOT blow dry. leave air dry.

there are those oil thingys that give a healthier shine to the hair...(sry, i got no name for it sweatingbullets.gif )

but i think you should just not...do anything to your hair anymore.. let it grow out, and...cut the damaged parts :/

Lol, my hair is quite damaged as well, after bleaching it 7 times within 5 months -.-

I'm not sure, but maybe you should use hair-repair shampooos and conditioners [of a good brand].
Or ask sum hair-dressers or hair-stylists Oo

edit
I found something in the soompi- home remedies thread

.sukaii.

1/ Damaged hair: Our hair is very fragile and sensitive, and without proper care, can get damaged easily. The sun, humidity, bleaching, perming, etc can damage your hair very easily. Here's how to cure damaged hair with natural home remedies and treatments.

Cover your hair in mayonnaise. Leave it on for a few hours (maybe for a whole night to rinse in the morning). You can also apply the following on your hair:
♥ Honey, eggs, or mix them both.
♥ Avocado and olive oil
♥ Mix 1 teaspoon of olive oil with 1 teaspoon of sesame oil and 1 teaspoon of coconut oil. Warm the oils together and smear on the scalp.

Leave them on your hair for around 30 minutes (depends on your treatment) then rinse with water.

Ahora vamos por todo
y todos vamos por ellos

dont hot oil treatments help?
i am not a hair know it all so -o- i am sorry I cant help.
You gambled you hair with the bleaching and dying.
Next time when you straightening your hair make sure you use the heat defense products.
Those will help you big time.

PANTENE is a bad shampoo unless its only the PRO-V that was bad (I do not know), well
find a good conditioner and shampoos those will help a lot.

Part of my hair routine consists of:

Redken All Soft shampoo and conditioner
Sebastian Potion 9
Redken All Soft Heavy Cream
Kerastase Oleo-Relax serum

All these have helped my hair sooo much.
My hair has gone through hell and back.
And now it feels so nice and soft. Possibly even better than my pre-dramaged hair O_O

I've had long hair before and I straightened it everyday for 2 years. You can imagine what my hair looked like. (dull..dry..deadends/splitends) I have tried *mostly* everything from hot oil treatments at salons, using biosilk shampoo/conditioner, I even tried that nasty mayo hair mask thingy, but my splitends weren't going away..
If you have alot of splitends..they can't be repaired, the only thing you can do, is cut your hair. I cut my hair short (from near my butt now to my neck) and my hair never looked so beautiful.

if you really don't want to cut your hair, I guess you should just try hot oil treatments at salons
it didn't make my hair back to being healthy..but it did make it soft o_o

also make sure before you straighten your hair, you use a heat protector spray. it doesn't protect your hair completely, but it is definitely better than no protection at all.

hot oil your hair, my hair was damaged after I got it rebonded but it's ok now after I had a hot oil. My hairstylist also recommended Biosilk shampoo and conditioner, really made my hair healthier and smoother.

My hair was fried before, from multiple bleaching.

I used the hot-oil treatments and deep in conditioner for awhile, and letting my virgin hair grew until about neck-length, and then I cut my hair short to get rid of the fried hair.
My sister told me hair looked nice after the haircut, looked shiny and healthy.
It's better that way than continued using hair products, saved me lots of money.

The V05 hot oils for example, one box costs like almost 5 bucks.
And the deep conditioner costs $5-8 for one treatment.

You've to waste $10-20 (or more) per month for all of those treatments that only work temporarily.

edit:

O yeah, also have to spend lots of $$ for expensive shampoos people mentioned above too wacko.gif

OMG i was in the exact same position as you!
I peroxided my hair when i was in grade 4 (against my parent's wishes) and basically killed it right there. Then afterwards, i STILL didn't learn my lesson and continued to experiment with hair dye until i finally realized that if i didn't take better care of my hair i'd pretty soon be left with NO hair to dye. T____T" Anyway, enough of my babbling sweatingbullets.gif I use the Kelp Help mask from John Freida's Blond collection (you don't have to be a blond to use it) The stuff is AMAZING! Your hair feels sooooo soft and manageable after using it & it smells sooo good as well! Too bad it's discontinued now though...i still have a couple jars on hand if you're interested. smile.gif

i was also in this position a few years ago. i ended up cutting it and letting it grow out
and to this day i've never, ever dyed my hair. if you don't wanna do that, the ppl above
provided good suggestions ^^ good luck!

I used to work at a salon and one of the products they carried was L'anza. The stylist would always recommend the Healing Color Care Trauma Treatment.

Here's a link for more info about it: http://www.lanza.com/products/display_prod...uma%20Treatment

Hope that helps.

yah, like other people said, the best thing you could
do is grow out all your virgin hair and cut your damaged hair
when you have the length you want.

Oh and split ends are going to keep on splitting
until they reach your scalp which will soon break off
so your hair will be worse if you don't cut those split ends vicx.gif

if your hair is like how mine was...half of it was horribly damaged from [segmented] bleaching and constant coloring..just chop it off...my hair's short now and looks a lot less fried...it actually looks pretty healthy!!

If you can, try using the aphogee protein treatment. It smells like cat pee, but it really does strengthen your hair. Don't use it again for a while, though, because if you use it too much, your hair really will break off sleep.gif; After that, you just have to keep on babying it--hot oil treatments, deep conditioning treatments, etc.

like everyone said above, hot oil treatments if u can afford

if not, just shampoo & condition [remember to let it in for a few minutes so it workes well]
& over time ur hair too grow out & be healthy again

just remember to trim the ends
