BU is right in the middle of the city ..and it takes up the whole street.. so u honestly cant be bored there.. .however... classes are huge just dependin on what ur major is... and there are a lot of opportunties with this college compare to otehrs.. .
and there is a lot of party from what ive heard...
if there is any questions just ask... my best friends go there..and ive lived in boston and close to BU for the longest time LOL

i think i'm going to the preview day on the 19th, anyone else going??
so i have so questions about the campus
are the dorms big, and is it double or triple??
food: good?? bad?? edible??
how big is the campus, like is everything pretty much in the same area, or is it really spread out around the city?
are the students friendly? easy to make friends? (i know it really depends on your personality and such, but in general...)
the only issue i have w/BU is that it's really far from home, and i know i'll get homesick.

I heard that although their ranking isn't high (whatsoever - it's ranking is much lower than UCR and UCD), people still become really prosperous and leave school very well-off. Someone said something about how by the time most undergrads graduate, they work for corporate companies and do what they really want to do.
But I heard that there are a lot of snobby, rich kids. They feel like they can do whatever they want because their parents can afford it (but that's probably true with almost any east coast school).
As for social life, I heard it's bomb. It should be, though, seeing that it's placed at the heart of Boston City. :]

I can assure you numerically the ranking might be lower than UCR or UCD but reputation wise, BU is better than UCR and UCD.

I can tell you that is true about the rich kids part.. happens mostly at east coast skols because all these pple i have to say come from the surburbs and they know nothin about the city life at all...
i see tons of these kids at suffolk... and its quite amazing to be honest...
but yea the dorms are small mostly for freshman they dont get the best ones... but it all depends on where u goin
