i've never received an email from housing but i got a mail saying i have to attend move in orientation honestly i have to go through this orientation crap again..they make life so complicated..

But yes, I know where those are. They are the two tall buildings you see coming up the 60.
They are in the same area as University Village plaza, across the street from Grand Marc.

But as far as I know, those are not on-campus apartments and are not affiliated with UCR. lol.

Which is so wierd. Cuz I'm a freshman and I got my UCR packet today and it says University Village Towers.
I have my own phone number to go along with it. This is kind of freaking me out. I'm going to call and see what happens.

How did you get placed there though? Are you a first year? Because don't first years usually get put in the dorms? Maybe there is some kind of mistake, lol.

Thanks! I'll check that website out. I have no idea how I got placed there. I was a couple of days late for dorms and I guess this is the "accomodations (sp?)" they were talking about. I'm going to call and see whats up. I thought first years get dorms....*confused and worried* Thanks for the help.

^ Don't worry too much about it. I think it's a bit far away from the campus, so you might have to walk a bit. But I've heard of quite a bit of people who are Freshmen being tossed into UV Towers.

Hell, they're trying to make 4-person rooms out of lounges. It can't get much worse.

You're actually REALLY lucky if you get into UV Towers.

Those places are SOO nice... expensive, though.. I would LOVE to live there if I had the choice.

no, but they recommend it only to fully experience college without going home.
if you keep going home, you'll more than likely want to go home more...

its completely up to you, but i say, stay a week or two and see how you like it

I would offer but, my apartment is kind of small and cramped. And for some reason people always get lost trying to find my room, haha.

Maybe someone from Glen Mor or in Falkirk can host since they have bigger rooms there?
