I'm leaning more towards West Lo right now, but all the events at AI make it seem more fun and social, so it'll be nice if I could walk over to AI when I feel really bored or lonely =)
Oh yeah, do you have any more incoming freshman tips? (like that one where you bring a bathrobe because you don't wanna be walking around with just a towel wrapped around you) lol, now i need to buy a bathrobe before september.

When you run out of 'meals' they will charge you through your dining dollars/bear bucks.

during the bear facts orientation, they'll set out a time and place for students to take the math or chem or language, etc. (or all lol) placement tests, so you take it right then and there
that way, they'll have your result so at the end of orientation you can register for classes.

as u can. even the food sucks, 9 out of 10 times, eat other things i mean
u're paying a lot might as well make the most of it. if i didnt eat, and had
extra meal points, i would go get lunch or breakfast and stock up on
water, cereal, etc. lol

Sometimes I didn't even want to go to dinner (cause food is not good and I lived in the furthest building in Pentland lol) so I just go to Logo's (grab and go place) to stock up on snacks and stuff during breakfast and lunch. Had to use up my meal swipes haha.
Other than that, I used dining dollars to eat elsewhere on campus or buy food from the convenience store.
But the experience is different for everyone I guess, some people in my dorm really liked the food... but I'm a picky eater. Although, breakfast at A&I during the weekdays aren't so bad if you're willing to wake up early nor is brunch in Lothian weekends. It's just dinner that's kind of bad.

hi miyukihime!
since you're a science major, may i ask how are the science classes at UCR compared to say AP sciences classes in hs?
which class do people usually have difficulty in? how competitive is it? and finally how many hours do you spend studying for it? also, do you suggest i join the CNAS Scholars thing, how about the Medical Scholars Program?
oh and can you take a honors course without being in/joining the university honors program?
sorry, it's so much questions, hope you can please help
thanks so much!
