^ you won;t need to bring sheets or anything beause it's provided but i was freezing at night because the blanket was so thin x_x but then again my air conditioning was like at 60 degrees and it wouldn't turn off. just make sure you bring shower stuff, pajamas, and a change of clothes smile.gif

i think people whose scores don't show up on my.ucr.com yet shoud call ucr or collegeboard about it before orientation. because my friend had to register for math 9b even though she passed her calculus bc exam but the school didn't receive her scores~

Bring a cellphone, or an alarm clock, or just something that will wake you up.

i searched under CNAS-english composition, but it just went from ENGL 001A and skipped to 001C, but no B?

Yes, you do skip it, so that just means that you could take some other class instead of English in the fall, if you want. smile.gif Then start with 1B in the winter, which is what a lot of people do.

You should take the chemistry placement test and inquire if you can get Chem 1A. Because, frankly, you don't need to know that much math for chemistry, especially 001A.

Don't you need to take english as one of your classes.

Then, I suggest :
(If possible) > English, Chem, Math
(If not) > Math, English, (history, arts, etc. W/e is more interesting.)

I have the same major (biological science) and I'm taking the following courses (or hope to):

Math 9A
Chem 1A
Intro to Computer Programming
Philosphy of Human Nature

^ if you're math8b or math9a you can enroll chem1a~ since they're both almost the same thing anyway

btw i just got back from the orientation. it was veryyyyy tiring and hot though. so much walking D: but i really liked the teacher/staff/advisors/counselers there. they are extremely friendly and are always there to help you when you need it. so if you guys are lost or confused about schedules and stuff, don't hesistate to ask. (:

Ah, your taking english 1b. Man, now I feel behind sad.gif . Maybe, I should of learned my grammar. We should take the course in the winter together ^^, lol, nevermind, man this sound so stalkerish, I should delete, meh lazy, comma ftw.

US history is worth anything, it fills some useless requirement for US history (which is fullfilled by taking basic high school US history). Oh, and Ap Gov/Pol jut fullfills an non-specified social science breadth requirement.

I have orientation tomorrow and I'm debating on whether to wear shorts or not. Hahaha, I don't want a tan form my shorts but it'll be hot...T.T

Oh well, they also take out pictures for our photo ids, yea? >.< So...attempt to look decent with the heat, the sun and walking...

Did anyone here actually watch the pre-orientation videos? I didn't, I watched some of them, hahahah...

I'm taking 3 right now because Math was full so I will be adding either math or a breadth course during the summer, so that will be 4

P.S.

Is anyone else in the Chass Connect program for media, diversity, and childhood?
