A&I, third roommate. I'd be a lot more comfortable if it was just my friend.. I just wonder about the whole bedding situation, who sleeps where (not wanting to get stuck with the top or bottom bunk or something cause I'm not used to it, and the cramped-ness). Would I just have to get there early for the single one? lol. Does anyone have pictures of a dorm at A&I?

By the way, are you guys taking 3 or 4 classes? I have 4 currently but thinking about dropping Economics.. if I do, I get Monday totally off and only have 1 two hour course on Weds and 2 one hour courses on Friday. Pretty chill schedule for a first quarter. Haha.

. No. I just realized people got their names of their roomies already and info.
I got jack. What the heck? No info. Me and my roomie are off to a bad start already 'cause shes hiding from me! And I'm one of those ultra-planners who needs to know info ahead of time! I need to start discussing and planning 'cause I'm going dorm shopping soon. This roomie sucks. D= Why hide info! I didn't hide mine.. that's so creepy lol. Someone who knows me but I don't know them. =/

Cons: Far away from the dining halls, empty.

AI
Pros: Close to dining hall and fitness center, lively atmosphere. Closer to belltower and bourns.
Cons: Old.

To lazy for Lothian. East is like pentland but less and west is like AI

A&I is reallllly social if you're into that. And it's close to all the facilities! (: That's a pro of it. The con is just it's older and smaller and you can't control the AC. Haha.

i kind of disagree with you for pentland.
there are some empty and quiet buildings. and there are buildings that never seem to die down. its kind of the luck of the draw

and i think you meant east is more like a&i.. mm.

pentland:
+ can be quiet in certain places, room (if your roommate is quiet) etc.
+ easy place to find a place to study
+ ~8 people per bathroom

- a little farther from campus
- no dining hall and no convenient store in the pentland area


a&i:
+ always an adventure, always someone there
+ dining hall / cstore
+ closer to campus
+ close to trolley area/gym

- if you have a loud hall, harder to focus in room
- older facilities
- i'm not much of a share bathroom person, so i didn't like that fact but maybe it doesn't bother you


lothian has east and west. i didn't go to either much, but i can say west is a lot quieter than east lo.
