This drama is a pleasant surprise. I didn't expect to like this from the start, and I didn't but I'm loving it now.

I believe during whatever episode it was, but this was the first time Tang Men found out that Xiao Hua was Jia Si Le's love (when all four went out to dinner for the first time). Jiang Mi was at the salon for the whole day trying to fix her hair because she wanted to look better than the girl that Jia Si Le likes. And during dinner, she said something about how she was in a complete wreck to look nice for someone like Xiao Hua. So from that moment on, you know that the person she like is Jia Si Le. Plus, when Tang Men and Jiang Mi went jogging, she asked him a question about birds. Apparently, Tang Men likes someone but is too afraid to admit it or something. Whereas Jiang Mi already has someone she loves.

So pretty much, she likes Jia Si Le and not Tang Men.

If you watched the episode where Xiao Hua goes to dinner to meet up Jia Si Le and the best friend he met in Japan (the part where Tang Men and Xiao Hua realize the connection they have with Si Le)... Jiang Mi is styling her hair at a salon before meeting the girl that Jia Se Le is raving about.

There, the story uncovers the truth-- Jiang Mi likes Jia Se Le and plays it off that she doesn't want to marry him. But she actually loves him. It's probably not for the money or his looks, since Tang Men is pretty hot and she is pretty well off.

So since Jiang Mi KNOWS that Tang Men has a crush on her (Jiang Mi), she manipulates him to make Xiao Hua fall in love with him, saying that: "Xiao Hua doesn't love Jia Si Le and is just in it for the money," when we all know that Xiao Hua isn't really into the money and she's pulling teeth to please his family (as you will see in the future episodes).

Tang Men agrees to the proposition because he cares about Jia Si Le. He's a GOOD GUY. He cherishes his friendship with him and really cares about his best friend. Later on, he realizes that Xiao Hua doesn't deserve the deceit and she already has a lot on her plate so... he starts to feel bad. I think in Episode 6, he realizes more about himself and how Xiao Hua makes him feel.

So episode 7 was the bomb.
Honestly, I don't know how anyone could HATE Xiao Hua.
Jo-jo (Xiao Hua's friend) is so annoying. She screams so loud.

Everything from

Jia Se Le not believing Xiao Hua
Xiao Hua denies not giving Gino the company's plan for the perfume
Jiang Mi gives Se Le the video she taped of Tang Men and Xiao Hua hugging
This OBVIOUSLY disturbs him and he sees it as "Omg, Xiao Hua and Tang Men are lying to me?"
(even though, dude, you had no faith in Xiao Hua.
Yeah, you may be hot and fine, but damn youuu.)

Then Xiao Hua totally runs away.
She finds herself at Tang Men's house, which really gets him worried.
He's so worried about her, he even brought her upstairs so she could rest on his bed.

The next morning Jia Se Le arrives at Tang Men's doorstep
He punches Tang Men in the face
Then Tang Men retaliates and punches back
(either because he's angry about how he didn't trust Xiao Hua
or
out of pure anger because 'hey, you punched you!')

Of course, Xiao Hua comes down the stairs.
Jia Se Le is angry to see this
and he's all like 'How dare you sleep over another man's house?'

Oh and out of comfort, Jiang Mi kisses Jia Se Le.

Xiao Hua's dad yells at Jia Se Le's mom
And viewers see Xiao Hua's dad looking at an old picture of Xiao Hua as a child.
Why? Besides the fact she treating his daughter like poo?

I looked this up on Asianfanatics.

Apparently this is how the story is going down:
1) Xiao Hua's dad KNOWS Jia Se Le's mom from his past.
But someone said it's POSSIBLE that Xiao Hua is the daughter of Se Le's mom out of wedlock

2) This does not mean Xiao Hua and Se Le are brothers and sisters.
It was emphasized in the first episode that the mother is ONLY the stepmother of Jia Se Le.

This means that because of this earth shattering news, the stepmother will start to see Xiao Hua in a new light.
And possibly, she would want Jia Se Le and Xiao Hua to marry.

Since there isn't enough drama... and they couldn't just have Xiao Hua and Tang Men live happily every after.

At first I only watched this drama solely because of Rainie but as the episodes went by, I started to like it as a whole. The show is pretty good and funny. Maybe at first I wasn't that comfortable with the role/image of Rainie but hey, she portrays the role pretty well.

I'm always looking forward to each episode.
