Interning Abroad

has anyone done it?

i just want to know people's opinions and experiences on interning abroad.

a couple of the programs i'm looking into are university of dreams and abroad china.

ooh i did it last summer. just a word of caution about interning abroad...it's fun and interesting...but it's REALLY lonely. it's hard to make friends b/c everyone knows you're only there temporarily...no one wants to go with you to explore so and so statue b/c they're all locals. you're entirely on your own with no one to turn to when you're in a sticky situation (unless you want to waste $10 bucks on a five minute call back home and wake up your folks at 3am.

i haven't heard of the programs you listed...but best of luck.

I'm probably going this summer to Beijing or Shanghai. (It's a program with my school.) I can't frickin' wait!!!! It'll be with some of my friends so I'm hoping not to worry about the loneliness.
