You have potential! ^-^ and i agree with aliks089.
You better start projecting your vioce.
try doing scales in the morning.
and before you sing, its better you drink lukewarm water.
and try to relax when you sing, it helps your voice a lot.
Do exercises like sit ups! ^-^ and then do vocal training. it will be easier for you.
well, i guess thats all i can give. ^-^
nice try with the shake it off though.
exactly! great pointers.
i've learned from experience that singing with the artist causes people to imitate and artist. With that, start with songs that are more simple - and midtempo
You have pretty good diction - except again your shyness is causing you to be unsure of certain words - or thats what it sounds like
about the recording tip - most recording programs let you monitor whatever that enters a mic through headphones. So in order for you to get the best out of your recording session, you'd want to be able to adequately hear yourself. if your program allows it, put reverb or echo into your mic feed so you feel more confident.
don't try to sound like anyone but yourself, don't try to make yourself sound prettier or anything - you're voice is plenty pretty
practice scales to train yourself to stay on key - this gets harder as you start singing more difficult songs - lukewarm water like the person above said, is great for your voice
always warm up the voice, especially in the morning
its always nice to have a friend, or even better a professional, to give direct feedback on how you're using your voice
most importantly
keep yourself confident - dont let people bring you down
sure maybe theres a lot of work to be done, but all of us has been there before, s'all good
