Well, actually I looked it up on google and mine looks nothing like the pictures.

Anyway... last night, my right eye started bothering me, so I rubbed it. Eventually, I looked at it in the mirror and on my top lid, the rim where my eyelashes are, there is what looks like a small bump the same color as my skin.

I think it's a chalazion even though mine isn't as serious as the pictures online.

It doesn't really hurt, but I can feel it when I blink and it's uncomfortable.

No, I'm not going to pop it! It looks too small, plus I don't want to touch it and make things worse.

Today, I'm wearing my glasses instead of contacts in case that has anything to do with it. And I'm not wearing any makeup on my eyes.

Has anyone else had this? Do they just go away on their own in a few days?

i've had a chalazion twice.
just wear glasses and no eye makeup.
and put a cold mask or just a bag of ice cubes on it.
it will go away in about 3 days

don't mean to scare you, but i've had mine for MONTHS now. i still have it right now! even not wearing my contacts and wearing my glasses didn't help it, so i eventually continued wearing my contacts. you're supposed to compress it (use a warm towel and lightly press down on it for about fifteen minutes, 2-4 times a day) and it should go away. if you just got i recommend you to try it right away, since i never did (i thought it would go away after a few days).

i remember having one that lasted 4 days and it's was like a small lump on the top of my eyelid
it wasn't as bad as the ones on google though =)
but there was one night when my right eye vision was like completedly blurry-white
and i started freaking out so much -o-
i was like tearing up because i thought i went blind [scariest moment in my life -o-]
so i was like constantly wiping my eyes and flushing it with water >_<;;
it went away in 5 minutes though XD

I've had them twice before.

Try getting a hot towel and put it over your eyes a little bit for around 10 minutes. It helped me alot.
Oh, and then put on some eyedrops.

so that's what those are called. i had one a while back that just kept getting irritated and i thought that i got bit or something when i was sleeping o_O

i had mine for a good week or so and then it gradually went away. it was annoying.

ehh, i've had that 3 or 4 times when i was younger. just get get a towel and run hot water on it (make sure it's hot enough for you to handle) and put it on your eye for 10 - 20 minutes, 3 - 4 times a day .. it'll eventually go away after a few days . whatever you do, don't let it get bigger ! if it gets too big, it might become permanent and you might have to get surgery to get it removed .. sorry, if i'm scaring you xO ehh, i had to get surgery everytime i got that though x____x''
