Help! somethings wrong...

so i'm helping a friend out and trying to figure whats wrong with their computer.
obviously they have viruses, spywares, etc..
but i'm no expert in computers that much and so i can't figure out whats wrong or how to bring this back up,
i don't even know what to call it sweatingbullets.gif

you know how you're suppose to see what you have thats going on, well, it doesn't show it,
and i don't know how??

I will assume the taskbar.
I can't really tell from the picture, but maybe the taskbar was on "auto hiding"? try hovering the mouse over it and it should pop up again. Right click on the bar and select "properties" and uncheck "auto hide".

If not, hover the mouse at the bottom of the screen until the cursor becomes arrows and drag it up.

To the OP:If the above doesn't work, your friend might have the same problem as here.
I also recommend doing a full scan of their computer for viruses. Unless of course they already do it regularly.
Which reminds me I need to do a scan soon...

sorry but i really need help and haven't found a solution to help a friend out...

i should also mention, it ONLY dissappears when using the internet or going through folders, etc..
BUTTT if on the main screen desktop, its still there..

weird...

If it's only happening when a window is open, maybe your friend has an option where they have the window to be full screen? If there is such a thing.

is the bar there before launching firefox? make sure the application is not always on top of all other windows.
