My mom just got the black Motorola W490 but she's already regrading it! =_=
I looked around for "face plates" but they all ugly and bulky!
But I did find some online stores that sell cellphone parts...
so I guess I can get the purple housing to replace her current black one.
I was wondering if anyone knows how to change the housing?
Is it complicated? Should I take it to a repair shop? Is it worth it?

By the way we can't take it back to the store simply cuz she changed her mind about the color...

You could use those... Phone covering sticker things. Which would technically change the colour.

if you want to change the housing, youll need to go to a shop... and the cheapest official housing ive ever seen is $50... so its probably a better idea to just buy a new fone or else be happy with it

unless your really crafty, i'd recommend you to take it to a repair shop. i've dealt with housing before and in some phones it was okay in others it was a complicated mess. if you change the housing, your phone may become very lose, if you do not tighten it far enough. the housing isnt really meant to be changed until your phone is beat up to a pulp.
