When I want to cry, like when I try to control my tears and try my best not to cry, my throat hurts.
It's as if there's something pressing on my throat, do you guys ever felt that way?

I'm just curious, why is it like that?

Yeah, I do, especially when I try holding back tears. It feels like there's a lump in my throat or something.

Why is it like that, I don't know. It probably has something to do with the glands in your neck and face.

This happens because your ears, eyes, throat and sinus passages are all connected. When you cry you have a lot of liquid that is coming out....your eyes, your nose if probably running, and some of that drainage gets back in your throat.

Uhm, I'm not sure why your throat hurts lol, but I know (if you're a girl) that when you cry you're sternum will hurt and you're chest area feels extremely heavy. It's a scientific thing lol, and only happens to women for some reason.

That happens to me too, if it's a very emotional cry my throat starts to hurt and I'm snorting like crazyyy! lol
