Remember this ad for Armani underwear? Yeah, thats what it was for, it wasnt just David Beckhams personal calling card. On the tonight show with Jay Leno, Becks talked about breaking the news about the ad to his mom, Sandra. How awkward!

I was so nervous about doing that campaign because obviously Ive done photo shoots before, but Ive never done photo shoots in my underwear.

I was quite nervous because obviously I knew my wife and friends were going to see it.

And my mum was going to see it.

He went on to say: When the photos came out, she was the first one to call me and say, What are you doing? I had to try and explain it to her and it didnt go down that well.

Wow, that must of been awkward.

But god, that is such a hot advertisement! I WONDER if its supposed to appeal to the MALE audience... since he is advertising male undergarments.

Makes me want to get a couple of Armani briefs however.......... HAHA.

he's done other photoshoots in his underwear...and one in the nude as well..so i dont get why he would be embarrassed about this one...i guess b.c its a billboard?
