I'm also wondering why yamcha has blonde hair.....-__-. I'm looking forward to watching this although some actors/actresses still irk me since they don't fit the character that well.

It looks like PJH didn't bother to change his hair since Speed Racer (you can see his roots).

LOL at the 2nd pic, and isn't Chow Yun Fat supposed to be Master Roshi? Why does he look so young. lol

I'd have to agree with you. This movie looks nothing more than a bunch of people "badly" cosplaying
DBZ characters.

However, if the cosplaying style was more like Ivy and her sonata of temptation for final fantasy, then I'd be looking forward to it.

Not really anticipating this movie now... unsure.gif

this looks SO bad
but then again.. I thought Transformers was gonna bomb.. and it was awesome
so I hope this will be good.. I'm not a big DB fan, but DBZ was like one of my fav shows on tv when I was younger

Blech...I feel like gagging myself. Chow Yun Fat and Emmy Rossum are lowering themselves for these roles. No offense to those who really want to see this, but it's just one of those shows that can not be easily translated into a live action film (Like Sailor Moon, Inuyasha, Naruto, Street Fighter, etc.,). Like hungrycollegeboy said, it just looks like a group of celebs cos-playing. The only animated series I could remotely imagine would look good live action right now would be Neon Genesis Evangelion, and that's because it would have the help of the Eva --who look like robots, (Transformers, anyone?)-- and big explosions/visual effects/etc. I'll still end up watching it just for a good laugh laugh.gif, and if it's good, I'll eat my words.

Well, if you take into consideration that the pics are bad quality, you can't really say for certain.

I'm kind of scared how this'll turn out though. Especially since movies based off games/anime turn out like crap. But, we'll see.

I saw the old japanese dragonball live..it sucked balls. Maybe because it was made loooooooooooooooooooooong ago. lol

something gives me the feeling that this is gonna turn out a lot like power-rangers... o_O i'm not saying that power-rangers was bad but my expectations of the dragonball movie should exceed the quality of power-rangers... but it is still early to say anything so i guess we'll just have to wait.

^ Thanks for the new pictures. It looks soooo low-budget! I don't like how they have them wearing casual clothes in some parts, and then...All of sudden they wear ancient, old-school outfits crazy.gif? If the director was going to change it up, why not update it with a modern twist? Seriously, it looks horrid. That fighting ring is too small...I'm such a whiner laugh.gif.
