I have begun reading shoujo manga and i think it is the BEST...although i have begun reading it for 1 or 2 weeks laugh.gif
I myself can't choose cuz i love all of them tongue.gif

I love the ones in shojo beat lol.

My favorites currently are Absolute Boyfriend, High School Debut, Fall In Love Like A Comic, Crimson Hero, Ouran High School Host Club....haha the list goes on & on. tongue.gif I voted Ouran though.

The ones I really like right now is Crimson Hero and The Wallflower.

I LOVE Koukou Debut.
It's such a great manga, but the main character got a little.. cliche after awhile?
It's still a great read though.

I love OHSHC too!
I haven't read that far into the manga (volume 8?), but I got a little tired of it because I watched the anime before, haha ><;;
I know it's different, but I still love the anime D:

But I must say, my two all time favorite are The Wallflower and MeruPuri!
They are juts so rich and beautiful (IMO)<3 ^^

Pixie Pop - really good =)
Ultra Maniac - manga is better than anime

Right now? I'd have to say Vampire Knight. That is shoujo right, yeah i think so.. and i also liked Akuma to Dolce.

i absolutly love this manga.
i also love fruits basket. it's like my most favorite of all times!!
another one is marmalde boy. it's kinda old though.

I'm sure there has to be one shoujo manga that tops my list but I can't seem to remember it :E

I find that most shoujo are tremendously cliche and utterly unrealistic and have (sometimes) ANNOYING heroines (or heroines which are okay, but may have a few annoying character traits, or surrounding characters are annoying, or the main potential guy is annoyingly cold etc lol), but there are several exceptions (:

I have a favourite, but I dont think we can find a "best" out of all of them because everyone's tastes are different. Out of the ones I've read/am reading I enjoy(ed) Hana Yori Dango, Onii-chan to isshou, Faster than a kiss, Hot Gimmick, Taranta Ranta and Furuba (like everyone else ;p) and moderately enjoyed reading Tonari no Shugoshin, Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden, Papillion ~ Hana to Cho, Special A and Vampire Knight. (Mixed list, some I think have a sorta unrealistic plot and/or plotholes and some annoying personality traits of the heroine)

Thought about it again: Nana and Ouran prolly tops my list :X

I watched the Furuba anime first and got kinda ticked at the ending so I read the manga, but it was getting really long so I stopped.
I like Tanemura Arina's work. Full Moon wo Sagashite was a good one, the ending was bittersweet imo.
Currently reading Vampire Knight, hate how only one chapter comes out a month though ><
My all time favourite would have to be Zettai Kareshi. Ayashi no Ceres is really good too. Yes, all the perfect men are never human, cat/shinigami/vampire/figure/hagoromo, never human XP (i kid i kid)
I don't really read them anymore though, a lot of the female leads are annoying ><;;;
