SID's Major Album

SID announced the release of their long-awaited first major album for July 1st. Titled hikari, the album, their first in approximately a year and a half, will include their most recent singles Monokuro no Kiss, Nidome no kanojo and Uso, the b-side Nakidamini coopera onna to kyomukan and more for a total of 11 tracks. As usual with their releases, the album will also be available in three editions, one regular and two limited coming with a different DVD each. However, the contents of the DVDs have yet to be announced.

SID's premiere album as a major artist, 'hikari', is due out on July 1st, and is bound to be a hit following the rise of their April single 'Uso' to the #2 spot on the Oricon charts.

A song off the new album, 'Drama', is even set to be used in the upcoming FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST game that will be made for the Wii systems. The game will begin selling in Japan on August 13th. 'Uso' has already been used as the ending theme for the anime version of FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST, which has been showing on television since April.

i feel like everytime i see a picture of Mao, he gets younger by the years day. lol
my sister & brother in law are always like how is he 30 something!? how!! lol
my sister says he looks like he should be in high school. haha

i'm happy they signed with Ki/oon records. they're getting a lot more recognition, since the single for Kuromini coopersuji.

SID & BUCK-TICK on MUSIC JAPAN


シド (SID) and BUCK-TICK will both be making an appearance on NHK’s 「MUSIC JAPAN」 on January 15th! The show begins at 24:10, and will feature BUCK-TICK perfoming 「GALAXY」 and SID performing 「2゜C目の彼女」 (2゜C me no Kanojo).
