Ayabie are an indie-rock band from Japan, formed in 2004 with four original members (Ryohei [G], Aoi [V], Intetsu [Ba], Takehito [G]). Drummer Kenzo joined in 2005, after the band's debut album (Ayabie Sokukan Ongenshū) was released. In August 2006, guitarist Ryohei left the band and was replaced three months later with Yumehito (ex-Soroban).

^ IMO they've gotten 10x better since Ryohei left. I never really liked him or his compositions. I really recommend the 'new' Ayabie, espesh the Rikkaboshi EP.

& yeah, Yume is pretty skinny!

Yes, Aoi has a gorgeous voice! I did feel sorry for the Ryohei fans when he left, but like you I was so happy when Yume joined. He's hilarious! Him and Kenzo are my favourites.

Yeah, the ones I'm into right now disbanded a long time ago. T___T
I guess not going to a live is disappointing, but I haven't seen too many lives before~ ;;

Yeah, to be honest I prefer Rikkaboshi to Meltaway. I really just love every song on that one, especially Sleet Eve. Meltaway is still good, though!
