I just found this new singer his name is 苏見信 but he just goes with 信 or "Shin".




He's a ROCK singer and people who have went to his concert says he's the only true rock star in asia. (I AGREE!!)
His voice is incredibly powerful and emotional and his performances are so energetic and amazing

But not many people know him yet, he's sorta those underated talented artists, SO i decided to start this thread so that more people can enjoy his songs!

A few things i know about his profile:
He's 190cm tall!!! Yes many girl fans go crazy over him because he's very "manly"..
He had a really very tough and sad history, he was not very fortunate and he had to overcome sooooooo many obstables and hardships in life to finally become famous. He's born in 1971 so he's quite old, but he sings increadibly well and i just listen to his songs all day now! lol...

And i almost forgot to add, he has a daughter!!! It's a long story but he's a single dad.

lol! i don't know all the details but it goes like, he had this daughter with his ex-girlfriend (i believe they were not married) and they kept it a secret this whole time, for many years, something about him not wanting it to affect his fame-seeking, but then one day his ex-girlfriend came out and announced the truth about their daughter to the media, saying stuff about he won't protect her so she has to tell the truth, not sure about the details... but yea... he admits it and now he takes care of his daughter, despite whatever happened before, he's a very loving dad right now, he went on this cook show and his DISH was named after his daughter, soooo cute~~

yea he's solo now, but he used to be the lead singer of that band..

Love his voice.. so powerful!! Definitely a rock star!!! The one and only in Taiwan!!

I just saw his interview on Hu Nan satellite tv "背后的故事", which aired last sunday..
some parts are funny and some parts abit sad... especially where he was like I see all those back singer friends like Ai Mei becoming famous and he's still singing in those pubs...

He's pretty big in Taiwan.

OMG !!! I kept trying to find a shin forum on soompi and finally i found one (insert maniacal laughter) I love shin~ his new album is out and it is very different from his songs. I'm not sure if he's underrated or not.

Saw an episode of Taiwan's Millionaire Singer last night and saw Shin there. He was one step short of getting that million bucks.....thoroughly enjoy his singing there esp. when Harlem teased him for choosing "dainty" songs and said Shin would probably end up making it sound rock..LOL...

He looks good in that scruffy hair do and boy! did I realised he was super tall standing next to Harlem Yu. Brought back lots of good old memories when I first bought his album...looping the song 死了都要爱，one night in Beijing etc......don't know if that was his debut album. Started googling for his profile and viola! I found him here in Soompi...surprised, surprised.

Never knew he had such sad, sob, stories behind him... Good luck to him in his new solo endeavours.
