Alright so today, I went out to the store and I asked my mom to buy lettuce, ranch dressing, croutons...and...

Bac'N Pieces Bacon flavored bits.
I remember putting them in my salad when I was little at this salad party at my school
so I go really excited when I saw them again.
And I begged my mom to buy them (three bucks) and I really don't know WTF I was thinking.
I just tried some right now.
okay
first of all,
they DO NOT TASTE LIKE BACON
second of all,
they SMELL LIKE DOG FOOD.
third of all,
I THINK IT EVEN TASTES LIKE DOG FOOD. (although i've never tried dog food.)

but seriously, goshhh now I don't know what to do with them and they taste like crap (they are crap)
it's like sprinkling dog food onto your salad. no joke.
maybe some people like it, but now I have a bottle of Bac N Pieces and I feel really bad
if I throw it out...I would literally give it to some random dog on the streets. Problem is, I don't know any dogs nearby.
I can either
a.) sprinkle it infront of my lawn for squirrels to eat -....but that might attract them to keep coming back
b.) my mom will see them sprinkled on my lawn and be like wtf.
c.) she'll get mad if I tell her I don't like them because she told me it looked gross.

b)eh... mix it in with ketchup? so.. u can eat it but taste like ketchup! hehe im not helping cos ive never tasted it before but as u said it smells like dog food soo..
c) jus leave it until the date expires...and hide it at the back of ur cupboard hehe!

Some are healthier for you than real bacon since real bacon is basically pure fat. Fake bacon can be made from soy or things like that.

Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of bacon bits either. There are non-solid bacon bits, but they don't taste that great either.

I'm sure some of you are just joking--but don't feed that stuff to any 4-legged animals. or fish. It might make them sick--especially fish.

little white lie like Classic Example said is what I would do. I actually did that once...just made belive I used it up gradualyy, and never asked for it again.

I don't eat pork--I like the soy bacon stuff --so I make that and crumble it up. We also use soy bacon bits--different from the ones you posted. the rest of my family eat pork, so they use regular pre-cooked bacon too--you just have to stick it in the microwave for a few seconds per piece--so you wouldn't have to bother with the bottled stuff at all).

Dude. I loved those as a kid. Haven;t eaten them in a long time, but they made a good suuper salty mini snack.
