So I got into a few UCs, but didn't get into my first-choice school, which is NYU, so I'm thinking of appealing.
Have you ever appealed a rejection and been accepted? Or have you tried and didn't get in?

I think two years back some soompier with a tonne of guts went to a dean (forgot which) in Berkeley in person. He travelled over from another state, he was very persistent, he got in.
Its not easy you know. But then again the admission officers are all human. So you never know until you try.
