Sometimes, while i'm online, there will be some sort of puppy barking. It usually happends when im online but not every single time. For example, about 30 minutes ago i was on myspace and for some reason a noise like "bark! bark!" will sound. I've talked to my friend about it and he says it may be a bad thing. I'd like to know if it's some sort of virus thats developing. I have Symantic Anti Virus which works very well but...yeah. Does anyone know what this is?

Thats very odd... reminds me of some of those joke software where its like you run it to drive someone nuts.
If thats the case then those are harmless, then go kick your friend for being mean!
Otherwise... you want to scan for viruses and spyware... might be easiest to just do a system restore in a paranoid measure.

There is nothing to worry about. The noise is probably coming from an ad on the site. I know this use to always happen to me when I was using AIM. I would be on my computer late at night with some mellow music playing and all of a sudden I would hear this loud voices. It took me forever to figure out that it was the stupid banners on the AIM client causing all the noise.

Maybe it's like that stupid smiley emoticon ad banner that keeps going: "HELLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
It's the most annoying banner you could ever land on.
Oh, also that stupid constant zapping sound that X-BOX360 ad makes literally almost every other second.
I don't know what their intentions are, but it pisses me off so much that I want to rebel against the ad.
That's right, even though the ad made me think about the XBOX360 with such strong feelings, I will forever ban myself from ever buying it. Lol.
I don't even need to explain why I never have, and never will (even before seeing the emoticon ad) want to click that ad because honestly speaking now,
