LOL, i don't know if the description made sense but whatever.

anyway,
most of you guys are obviously picturing yourself at a college, studying your behind off, and then become a doctor,teacher,etc.
but honestly, i'm thinking the exact opposite :X
my dream is to become a chef, and i don't see how i could achieve that by attending a college for four years.
instead, i just want to graduate high school and maybe attend a culinary institute/school.

i'm currently a sophomore in high school and sadly, time is swooshing by so damn fast and i'm soon bound to be a senior soon.
i try real hard in school,really, but i'm just not smart ?
and i can't picture myself at college (if i ever get accepted to one) and studying some more. . . .
so my head is all tangled up atm



so, for those who already graduated, did you ever have any doubts about your future ?cus you're basically off on your own after that. or did anyone ever think of just not attending college?
or is there anyone here that never attended college? don't be afraid

Awww don't doubt yourself. I have had total doubt about college before. But I just keep thinking to myself once this is over theres good things waiting. To tell you the truth my head is all tangled up too as you put it. I feel I'm a mess and that theres no end to this loop that I'm in of school. But at the same time I know that this will all be over soon. (And that's where I feel tangled XD ) But again I feel at the end of this I picture myself alone with my girlfriend, enjoying the day in a clean apartment, with the sun shining through the window, and the smell of fresh air as I open a window to look out toward the sun. And a school waiting for me, that I've been accepted to. And what I've done is I've made that my goal. I've made that my life's objective. To do whatever is necessary to make this plan and this dream work, no matter what!

EDIT: Psh I don't have a dream job too. And with this program at my school here I don't even need college to get a great paying job, as a computer programmer, graphic designer, computer technician. But I'm happy anywho.

No, but I'm going to go to college and get a major in English (I want to be a writer, but that's a career you can't definitely depend on for a steadily flowing source of income) or get into the gaming industry. So with that, I'll either be the gaming producer at the E3 convention booth, or the booth girl.

Hopefully by the a couple years after high school I will know a little about what I want to do with my future and career. I hope to go to college and be happy and possibly travel a little more. Just want to feel like I am getting somewhere and that I am truely learning a lot.

im gonna be going to college...then after i graduate, hopefully i can take some time to travel around the world and learn about what food is popular in various cultures..then, i'm gonna set up my own restaurant & after several years, i want to turn it into a franchise...but that's a big dream...haha...& i've always wanted to attend a culinary school too ...but, it's competitive and i don't think i can make it that "big" so i've decided to go to college first and if i'm still interested in culinary arts, then i'd probably attend an institute afterwards

actually, i always doubted my future i just think that i probably won't do well or something. but it's not stopping me. i'm trying to aim forward and that's where i can really go if i want to be successful.

i've already graduated from high school and i'm majoring in nursing at the moment. and in the future, i hope i can go places with my degree. ^^

Ummm I want to go to undergrad as an International Business or International Relations major, join the Peace Corps, get an MBA and Law degree, and enter the real world as a diplomat at age 30...

That's the plan I guess.

I don't know about college, I'd like to go somewhere else, but places like Carleton and Macalaster in Minnesota sound really appealing (although not now when it's snowing of course in the middle of April...) Maybe go to like American, G'Washington or G'Town if I'm lucky enough to get in if I decide to go away.
