As you some of you may have realized or heard by now, there's war coming to the Korean music industry. Why? Well, when DSP Entertainment's new 6-member boyband declared "Defeat Super Junior" as their goal, there was a whole bunch of counterattacks by ELFs all over the world. In addition to this, it seems that SS501 is also stepping it up (to DBSK and in general). DSP seems to be recklessly taking on some of the biggest names in the biz but to some people, like me, it actually seems worthwhile.

The k.music industry has been ruled by SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment, and JYP Entertainment for a long time with no real new faces or boybands (this excludes solo artists like Rain and Se7en) that have debuted and made a shockwave thru the industry like DBSK did years back (Big Bang is getting popular, but nothing scandalous like this has happened to them yet...i think, correct me if I'm wrong). Even though it's not the same kind of shockwave DBSK left, it's definately got the attention of an anticipating audience, including me.
I'm entralled and impressed by A'st1's multilingual fluency before coming in as opposed to getting fluent as they work (yes, I'm referring to Jang Ri In and Han Kyung whose lack of fluency has made for some harsh criticisms). They also have amazing musical&dancing skills that, put together with their unusual tall physique and great looks, seem like the start of something big but whether DSP will play their cards right to make this work, we'll all have to wait and see.
P.S: I am a fan of DBSK and Super Junior, so don't get any ideas that I'm posting this for any ill-intended purposes.
