hello,
i recently dropped a class (it's been about a week)
and the W still hasn't shown up on my peoplesoft yet. which worries me.
because i stopped showing up to class/doing homework/taking quizzes for it.
(i know, i fail at life.)
anywho,
for those that have dropped,
how long did it take to process/show up on your records
or have things ever gone terribly wrong?

i'm pretty much scared to death atm. :')

Usually for us, if we drop the class with a "W", that means we're dropping it after the drop deadline so we would need to turn in a petition. At our school, it only takes 2-3 days to get the petition approved and processed.

If it's been a week now for you, just give it a couple more days and see if it shows up. Even if it doesn't, it shouldn't be a biggy because if you dropped it already and the school has the paperwork for it, it probably won't harm you. Maybe they're just lagging on updating information onto the computer system.

If you're still worried after a while, just drop by your school's registrars office or call them to ask about it. Don't be scared! You'll be fine~~ ^.^

I'm guessing it's different for each school system. I'd call the folks at your academic advising or whatever.

usually it takes about a day for me.. when i use campus cruiser but i dont know how it works at other schools
